Pre-employment Drug Tests - Physio Needs Dublin
An ad on the DART in Dublin. Pre-employment drug tests are a ridiculous invasion of privacy and this is the first time I've seen this sort of ad in Ireland. In the US, of course, they are mandatory for everything. According to their website where they sell this muck they can detect marijuana usage so that if you've had a joint in the last couple of weeks you won't be getting that job.

Diarmuid, you can do whatever you want with your life, just don't expect others to support you. No employer wants a spaced out staff member. Would you employ a drugee?
Good question. I am, as it happens, an employer and regularly employ people and a number of them are users of marijuana. I don't know whether that makes them "drugees" in the same way I don't know if drinking a class of wine makes you a drunk.
