These peaceful protests will never get anywhere.....
Production of Range Rover's latest "gas guzzling sports utility vehicle" was halted yesterday when 35 Greenpeace volunteers disguised as contractors chained themselves to half-built vehicles at the start of the day's shift at the factory.
The protesters dubbed Ford, which owns Range Rover, "climate criminals", and ran a flag up the company flagpole to say so.
Negotiations for a peaceful end to the protest broke down after six hours when Ford refused to meet any of the protesters' demands and asked the police to move in and cut them free - no easy task, since they were wearing special toughened handcuffs. Fifteen people were arrested."

They should have gone in at night and destroyed the production line instead......

Decentralisation
The Central Decentralisation Policy Unit is located in central Dublin. Upper Merrion Street. Nice central location, convenient for Civil Servants, Politicians and members of the public. Easy to get to using the main road and rail networks almost all of which connect main cities and towns to Dublin. Good choice I say.
Limerick, you're a lady....

Apart from the road to Dublin, is there anything good that has ever come out of Limerick? It needs to be walled in and cut off from the civilised world.
